This Wednesday (30th May), there will be a fish and chip run to (centre of the Universe?) Leysdown, and then a nice ride back to the Dancing Dog pub led by Gary for a few beers. If you have never been to the Dancing Dog you have missed a great pub as it is something out of the old mid-West.

Reject EU (Motorcycle) 'Anti-tampering' legislation, this included Art 18 & 52, that will prevent owners customising their bikes and/or using after market parts.

Responsible department: Department for Transport

If you feel you could sign...  Please do so.

This EU legislation must be rejected by the UK government .

I know you don’t hear from me much these days but this month you're getting a double whammy! Firstly I've been working on trying to establish a complete historical library of every Invicta newsletter that has ever been published, as for some sad reason, I've always kept mine, mostly alongside all my committee meetings notes.

Olympics Charity Cycle Ride

Olympia in Greece to The London Olympics Charity Cycle Ride

As many of you will be aware Tanya & I are accompanying 14 cyclists who are riding from the site of the original Olympics in Greece over a 2 week period to the site of the London Olympics in Stratford (more info at http://www.o2o2012.org) all to raise at least £50,000 for a cause very close to Invicta’s & SOFER’s hearts, the Kent Air Ambulance.

New Members ride out on Sunday 27th May, Meeting at 10 o’clock at the Maidstone Dealership for a ride around Kent ending up at Brookers Oast around lunch time – they do a very good carvery (two course for 9.45) plus other foodies.
